Sr. Full Stack Developer

Position Description   PPG's Digital Center of Excellence is seeking a passionate, senior-level full stack developer who has a passion for writing semantic, reusable, accessible and future-proof HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and is experienced and willing to work in .Net MVC and C#.  This role is located in Cranberry Township, 25 minutes north of downtown Pittsburgh. Limited travel will be required. Sporadic weekend and off-hour support may be required. The person will be responsible for developing and maintaining many high-profile marketing websites that are primarily developed in the Kentico CMS, so experience working in a content management system is critical. The candidate will also be expected to provide technical solutions and estimates for the work as well as mentoring and coaching less-experienced developers (and possibly "designers") and acting as a technical lead on projects.  This person must excel at working in a team environment while collaborating with strategists, designers and other developers, including working withdevelopers in our Regional Technology Center in Poland. Additionally this person will need to be comfortable sitting with our internal customers or management to inform them on software or technical solutions, gather and translate requirements and influence their decisions in a non-technical manner.  The developer is expected to have an exceptional and well-rounded technical background, including but not limited to:  Web Services Entity Framework Single-page applications such as Knockout and Angular Source code control Excellent time management and written and verbal communication are mandatory and it is critical that the candidate can identify both technical and time barriers and communicate those to management well in advance. In addition, this person should also anticipate working on multiple projects at one time and have a proven successful track record delivering projects from conception to delivery. Additionally, an exceptional candidate will have experience with MS Visual Studio 2013/2015/,  SSIS, SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 and .NET Framework 4.6x. Qualifications Required Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Web Development/Design, Computer Science, or related discipline A minimum of 5 years' experience working in ASP.Net MVC and C# A minimum of 5 years' experience with responsive, client-side web development - HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap A minimum of 5 years' web development experience in a CMS platform such as Kentico, Sitefinity, Ektron, or WordPress 1-2 years' experience with Web Services and Entity Framework Thorough understanding of Single-Page-Applications and Frameworks - Knockout JS, Angular and Angular JS Experience working directly with a Web Designer - expert knowledge creating semantic front-end markup Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management Preferred Qualifications Experience with MS Visual Studio 2013/2015/2017 or other IDE Experience with SSIS Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 Experience with.NET Framework 4.6x Skills Track record of consistently driving projects to completion and taking accountability for work and results Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing Ability to articulate and translate technical language to non-technical customers Demonstrates and promotes creativity and innovation while proactively seeking out alternative solutions to business problems Personal commitment to quality and on-schedule delivery Ability to mentor other developers to build their knowledge base and skills Ability to work without close supervision, keeping focused on short and long-term objectives Exemplifies teamwork and serves as role model Ability to define and champion development processes and procedures. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
