Senior Director, Customer & Field Education
The Senior Director of Customer and Field Education, will report directly to the Vice President of Customer Service and Business Planning. This leader will provide strategic vision and guidance to ensure our customers are provided with exceptional education from formal to app navigation self-help to receive the initial and the maximum value of our product line over time.
Essential Functions:
In order to work effectively as a Sr Director, the position is expected to:
Be recognized as an influential leader
Build leadership within the design and training team in order to encourage individual and team growth
Direct and control the activities of a multifunctional training department and have overall responsibility to effectively deliver product training as measured by high customer (internal Omnicell and external accounts) satisfaction.
Manage control of planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods to senior level management.
Maintain and drive Training Service Revenue strategies, programs, and offerings with all Omnicell products, business objectives and needs including non-acute (Med Adherence).
Effectively use data-driven learning to measure learning effectiveness, through learner activity and engagement metrics.
Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate product and adult learning development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
Ensure the department effectively assesses the overall product training needs of Omnicell customers (internal Omnicell and external accounts) and delivers training that meets the learning needs and preferences of each customer segment
Manage the resources of both the existing ETS Team and the Field Operations, Field Service and Technical Assistance Center Training Managers.
Have the team deliver interactive, innovative learning materials and events using a variety of strategies, including instructor-led classroom training, virtual training, e-learning with demonstrations and simulations, video, and Train-The-Trainer models.
Partner with Omnicell acute and non-acute departments, including Marketing, Engineering, CORE, Sales Enablement, Field Operations, TAC, Field Service, Field Support, International, and Sales, to prioritize product training needs and ensure customer awareness of training availability
Leverage the CSC's (Customer Solutions Consultants) and CEM (Customer Experience Account Managers) activities (Account Audits, CORE support, Best Practices, Nurse Preceptor Program) with that of ETS to enhance the training delivered to our customers.
Ownership of the Nurse Preceptor Program; coordinate with CORE product teams, Training Managers, CSCs, and Instructional Designers to keep the content compatible with the bi-yearly GA releases
Guide the department in the development and execution of best practices based on industry standards for adult learning
Communicate with the Sales Enablement Training Managers to understand sales training activities that would benefit in the coordination with ETS training offerings.
Leverage the existing ETS customer training resources with that of internal Omnicell Field Operations/Field Service Training managers in the successful completion of complimentary tasks and opportunities.
Quarterly evaluate Omnicell's approach to training customers (internal and external) and identify opportunities for improvement
Develop strong training, instructional design, and Training Management teams by encouraging ongoing professional development in adult learning and training design, delivery, and assessment. Ensure that appropriate subject matter experts are developed and cross-training occurs.
Ensure the management of the training labs in Cranberry Woods, Pittsburg IL/Mountain View, CA/Waukegan, IL and St Petersburg, FL meet the proper requirements.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Strong leadership skills

Must be a self-starter capable of demonstrating creativity when resources are limited
Solid understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles
Experience in the creation and delivery of Executive Metric Reporting to EVP, VP, GM, Director
Solid knowledge of the training needs of healthcare products.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
At least 8+ years' experience in a supervisory or management position
At least 8+ years' of experience in corporate training, adult learning or similar field
At least 8+ years' of experience in medication automation implementation, support, best practices, audits
Experience in working with Field Service, Field Operations, Technical Assistance Center at the Director's level and above in establishing strategic plans and objectives
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Master's degree preferred in education/training related subject is a plus
10+ years industry experience, management experience in a global organization
Experience developing, delivering, and managing training in a variety of formats (classroom, virtual, webinar, e-learning)
Work Conditions:
Cranberry Woods Area, Pittsburg, IL in residence is required
10 to 25% travel is to be expected

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
