Part-Time Office Assistant

Morris Great Lakes, a regional distributor of CNC machine tools, tooling and accessories, and related engineering and support services, is seeking an ambitious and conscientious part-time Office Assistant for our Cranberry Township, PA location. This role will provide the right individual with opportunities to work for a great company in a fast-paced, growing industry.
Job Responsibilities
As the part-time Office Assistant, you will have a wide range of administrative duties associated with office operations. This position is responsible for data entry, filing, scanning, and general office duties including processing incoming and outgoing mail and ordering office supplies. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Greeting people as they enter the building
Coordinating lunch for customers coming-in for trainings
Marketing Blasts and Sales Blitz coordination
Managing Sales Force for select members of the Sales Department
Assisting with the annual open house
Assisting with special projects, when needed
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will need at least 2 years' experience in an office assistant position or related field. The part-time Office Assistant will be extremely accurate and detailed with numbers and various office documents. This organized person must be able to clearly communicate ideas both verbally and in writing, be able to take ownership and initiative with minimal supervision, and prioritize work load in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs is preferred. Excellent customer service and time management skills are necessary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
