Responsibilities and Duties

Respond to current customer queries about structured settlements and financial opportunities
¬
Assess claimant‚ s overall financial picture and understand their needs to devise an appropriate financial plan
¬
Provide financial planning support
¬
Prepare financial plans and check their accuracy
¬
Ensure all sales documents and agreements are completed before they are filed and updating the customer contact information as needed.
¬
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, keeping them updated about any changes affecting structured settlement industry
¬
Support insurance professionals to cultivate client relationships
¬
Act as liaison to insurance providers, other financial professionals and attorneys.
¬
Oversee legal paperwork on all cases
¬
Maintain awareness of latest legislative changes that may affect structured settlements and financial planning
¬
Work with support staff to establish client records and update their files
¬
Able to travel up to two weeks per month
Qualifications
¬
Bachelor‚ s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related field
¬
Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills
¬
Willingness to obtain necessary insurance and SEC licenses
¬
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
¬
Ability to initiate and monitor several simultaneous projects
¬
Strong organizational, project management and problem solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
¬
Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties
¬
Friendly and professional demeanor
¬
Possess valid driver‚ s license
Uphold strict level of confidentiality

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
