Senior Systems Analyst/ .NET Developer

Position Description
The Sr. Systems Analyst/Full Stack Web Developer will be working as part of the IT Digital Center of Excellence Microsoft Development Group located in Cranberry Twp., PA. Limited travel will be required. Sporadic weekend and off-hour support may be required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing a number of consumer facing MVC websites. Our portfolio contains standard .NET MVC web applications, SPA's, and websites developed inside the Kentico CMS platform. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing task details and estimates and must demonstrate strong initiative and attention to detail. Additionally, this role will be responsible for mentoring less experienced developers and acting as a technical lead on projects.
The incumbent must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment, including working with individuals in our RTC (Regional Technology Center) in Poland.
A Full Stack Web Developer must provide analytical and technical expertise within the team regarding the analysis, design, development and implementation of business applications. In this capacity, they must maintain awareness of current IT projects within PPG and planned projects in their own IT group in order to promote application sharing.
The Full Stack Web Developer is expected to collaborate with Marketing members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present viable solution options. The successful candidate will be expected to evaluate application software packages, as well as other alternatives and make recommendations to management.
Technical
The Full Stack Web Developer must be proficient in translating business requirements into software, communications, and equipment requirements for application development. This includes performing feasibility studies, translating requirements into an appropriate design, and executing development activities. The Full Stack Web Developer must have the ability to identify barriers to meeting goals, and provide solutions to keep projects on track and on budget. Incumbents also assure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices. Incumbents must be a recognized expert in leading projects from a technical perspective. They must be able to give direction to both PPG employees and contract programmers while possibly working on multiple projects.
Individuals in this job position are competent working at an in-depth technical level while possessing a broad knowledge of various technical areas. They must be able to propose innovative technical solutions and provide and recommend data security solutions when required. They must be able to prepare detailed specifications from which applications will be written. Often they create, modify, and test programming code themselves or provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues. Incumbents should understand the procedures and expected system performance associated with applicable technologies. From an application maintenance perspective, incumbents must respond appropriately to system maintenance requests and use their analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, analyze all ramifications and implement solutions. Incumbents are also responsible for overseeing the creation of source code, operations, and user documentation. They are required to fully support department processes and procedures concerning methodology and internal auditing procedures.
Interpersonal
The Full Stack Web Developer generally does not directly supervise others, but must have demonstrated that they work well within a project team and can provide direction and mentorship to other team members. To be a Full Stack Web Developer means that you have demonstrated that you have good collaboration skills. Incumbents will directly influence and at times lead application design and project prioritization. They possess good coaching skills and occasionally coach other team members. They foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels. They share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities as well as the ability to act effectively as a team member.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Web Development/Design, Computer Science, or related discipline
A minimum of 7 years' experience in systems analysis, design, development, and implementation
A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Microsoft Development Technologies with at least 3 years' experience working as a technical lead/.NET architect
A minimum of 5 years' web development experience in a CMS platform such as Kentico, Sitefinity, Ektron, or WordPress
A minimum 5 years' experience working directly with a Web Designer - expert knowledge creating semantic front-end markup
A minimum of 5 years' experience with responsive, client-side web development - HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
A minimum of 5 years' experience with ASP.NET MVC and C#
3-5 years' experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 and .NET Framework 4.6x
1-2 years' experience with Web Services and Entity Framework
Thorough understanding of Single-Page-Applications and Frameworks - Knockout JS, Angular and Angular JS
Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MS Visual Studio 2013/2015/2017 or other IDE
Experience with SSIS

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
