Omnicell has a dynamic opportunity for a Configuration Specialist. This sales support role involves working closely with Sales Development, Field Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Pharmacy Consultants. The Configuration Specialist manages configuration assignments through both direct customer interaction and collaborating with internal sales counterparts. Responsible for identifying the appropriate drawer and pocket configurations for Omnicell Medication Dispensing product line using various forms of data (electronic, hard copy, customer discussions, etc.)
Provide configuration support to sales development and field sales by analyzing customer data for quote creation.
Responsible for providing optimized configurations for customers that desire inventory and/or pharmacy distribution model change.
Create configuration from a variety of data sources (electronic or hard copy medication lists, usage reports, current automation medication cabinets)
Collaborate with sales on deal structuring, pricing adherence and strategic positioning
Cross reference industry and drug manufacturer knowledge with current hardware and software versions.
Develop a working knowledge of all configuration rules set by Omnicell product management.
Participate in corporate priority initiatives and process improvement projects
Participate and achieve a passing score in all sales skills, business acumen, and product trainings.
Utilize Omnicell's CRM software and other necessary tools for accurate and detailed data capture and metrics.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient at executing multiple concurrent/competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal communication
Ability to collaborate productively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Customer service driven; responsive to both internal and external customer issues and concerns.
PC skills with advanced Word and Excel capabilities
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Demonstrated knowledge of medication sizes, drug classifications, packaging and storage requirements, and forms available (to be able to accurately recommend and appropriately sized pocket or pockets for a specific medication).
3+ years in experience in a hospital pharmacy setting with automation technology and dispensing cabinets
Demonstrable working knowledge of institutional pharmacy practices, including drug nomenclature and various pharmacy operational workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from a Pharmacy Technician training program
Bachelor Degree

Travel required ? Yes, 10% Plus
Physical Requirements ? Sitting, standing, walking, and using a keyboard.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
