We are excited to present a challenging opportunity for an experienced and energetic Oil & Gas professional to join our team as a Client Account Manager and help shape Kleinfelder's future. This candidate will foster deep relationships with top publicly-traded global petroleum clients, work closely with local operations teams, and will lead the development of a client-centric delivery teams that will position us for extraordinary growth in the years to come.
This position can sit in any Kleinfelder office within the contiguous United States.
The successful candidate will have:
Significant client, technical or project management experience with at least one targeted top publicly-traded global petroleum client such as Chevron, BP, Shell, or ConocoPhillips.
Business development and/or operations experience supporting Oil & Gas projects within a professional services (engineering consulting) firm.
The ability to work well in a matrixed environment, interacting with both business development and operations teams, as well as maintaining close communications with the client in order to represent the client's needs effectively.
The Client Account Manager (CAM) will focus on advancing the relationship with the targeted client account in all areas of the petroleum product lifecycle upstream, midstream and downstream with Kleinfelder's comprehensive suite of services. The CAM will thoroughly understand the client's business, and develop innovative solutions and sound recommendations to meet the client's needs. Further, the CAM will coordinate project delivery and proposal teams with clear, succinct communication, regarding client requirements and differentiation strategy. The successful CAM will build a fledgling client account into a multi-million dollar gross sales portfolio, including viable international growth opportunities, within a few years.
Position requirements:
Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
At least 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years of direct Oil & Gas industry experience, and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, and 8 years of project management and/or supervisory/management experience.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to connect the dots with our client's needs.
Ability to travel frequently, including internationally, to meet clients and teaming partners.
International experience in Canada, Australia/Pacific Islands and/or Europe preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
