Adecco Engineering and Technical is currently recruiting for a short term contract, Windows 7/OPC Server Consultant job located in Cranberry, PA. Qualified candidates must have a proven track record of successful Windows 7 Migration projects. In this role, the Specialist will analyze the system and migrate client specific product to Windows 7 Platform.
THIS IS A 4-6 WEEK PROJECT & CLIENT IS VERY FLEXIBLE WITH WORK HOURS
Windows 7 Migration Specialist job responsibilities include:
o Analyze current system in use, and provide recommendations and support for migration to Windows 7.
o Communicate effectively and update IT Director on progress.
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Bachelor's Degree in IT related field preferred.
o Software development skills in Microsoft Windows system environment.
o Use of high-level programming languages such as C, Visual Studio and C++ preferred.
o Familiarity with network communication / protocols, database, OPC Server/Client data exchange.
o Experience with Ethernet protocol compliant PLC or wireless communication a plus.
o Experience with generating Windows software installation package.
