The Westinghouse Global Internal Audit department's vision is to be recognized as a strategic business partner helping Westinghouse leaders to achieve their objectives and better manage risk. The Senior Internal IT Auditor will contribute to achieving this vision along with executing Global Internal Audit's mission of Facilitating positive change with a sense of urgency by providing best-in-class assurance and advisory services. As part of the transformation, the Westinghouse Internal Audit department is looking to enhance its IT Audit program. The Senior Internal IT Auditor will report to the IT Internal Audit Manager and will be part of the transformation of the Westinghouse Internal Audit department. The Senior IT Internal Auditor will assist the IT Internal Audit Manager in executing the department strategy related to our IT Audit programs. This is a US ONLY Remote Role. Your Day to Day:
Assist in carrying out the mission and vision of the Internal Audit department by evaluating IT risks and controls and reporting results to management Assist in the development of the annual IT audit plan and risk assessment by surveying and meeting with IT management to understand and document the risks and changes within the IT landscape Lead and execute audits by performing planning, walkthroughs, detailed testing, remediation/follow up, and reporting for audits of the company's IT systems, IT processes, and information security to accomplish the annual IT audit plan Identify the root cause for control deficiencies and evaluate management action plans to address deficiencies Accountable for meeting deliverables, working on multiple deliverables at once, and adhering to the department's quality and methodology standards Lead and participate in special internal department projects and execute the assigned scope Who You Are:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or related Engineering field Minimum of 4
years of internal or external IT audit experience One or more of the following certifications (preferred):
CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, CISM, CISSP Expectation is that all members of the Internal Audit department hold at least one certification or be working towards a certification. Knowledge of IT frameworks preferred (e.g., COBIT, ISO27001, NIST) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; exhibit professional skepticism and curiosity Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities Ability to travel up to 15% once pandemic travel restrictions are lifted Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Experience with audit management software Why Westinghouse?
